We are seeking a hands-on Production Team Leader to join a growing food manufacturing business.

Salary of $70,000 + Super Clear pathways for career progression and advancement Supportive and growing manufacturing environment Opportunity to lead and develop your own team Full-time position Shifts Available: AM Shift: 5:30am to 2:00pm About the Role Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day production operations while ensuring high standards of food safety, quality, efficiency, and workplace safety.
This role requires a strong leader who can hold people accountable, set clear expectations, and maintain a productive team culture from the outset.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage daily production activities and team performance.
Allocate tasks, coordinate rotations and manage staff breaks.
Train, coach and develop production team members.
Ensure food safety, quality, GMP and hygiene standards are maintained.
Monitor production performance, workflow and key operational KPIs.
Complete and oversee production documentation and records.
Work closely with Quality,



Maintenance and Production departments.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor.
Maintain a safe workplace and ensure all incidents, hazards and near misses are reported.
Support problem-solving and process improvement activities.
Ensure production targets are met while maintaining product quality standards.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience leading and managing people in a production or manufacturing environment.
The confidence to be firm, make decisions and hold team members accountable.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
The ability to work independently and take initiative.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Experience working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
Highly Desirable Previous experience within food manufacturing or food production .
Understanding of GMP, food safety and quality systems.
Certificate III in Food Processing or similar industry qualifications.
Essential Requirements Must have full working rights in Australia .
Must be currently residing in Australia .
