Senior Solution Infrastructure Engineer Paxus is partnering with a large Federal Government environment to engage an experienced Senior Solution Infrastructure Engineer to design and deliver resilient, high-performing infrastructure solutions that support business-critical systems.
This is a senior (EL1-equivalent) contract role focused on technology refresh, workload consolidation, system resiliency, and strong operational readiness.

1) is must Key duties and responsibilities Develop and maintain infrastructure roadmaps aligned to business and IT strategy Provide advice to leadership on lifecycle management , emerging trends, and investment options Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt , optimise cost, and improve value Design infrastructure solutions across networking, virtualisation, and enterprise platforms Lead/oversee technical designs , consolidation initiatives, and legacy decommissioning Validate DR, failover, and resiliency frameworks Produce operational documentation to enable smooth handover into BAU teams Translate complex technical concepts into transparent,
