What you'll be doing assessing development and subdivision applications, which can include Development Assessment Panel applications reviewing plans to confirm whether development approval is required providing professional planning advice to the community, Government agencies, developers and other departments on statutory planning matters assisting in the development of policies,



information sheets and procedures facilitating positive development outcomes by working with landowners, applicants and the Town's Design Review Panel What you'll need to succeed formal tertiary qualification/s in town planning or related discipline demonstrated ability to provide high quality customer service great organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment working knowledge of the statutory planning framework developed report writing skills previous experience in a statutory planning role will be highly regarded The benefits of working for us salary range of $91,060- $103,982 up to 19% Council superannuation contribution five weeks annual leave work-life balance including flexible working arrangements, easy access to public transport and our famous Albany Hwy café strip job share opportunities may be considered free use of gym and aquatic facilities (conditions apply) ongoing training and development exciting change-creating projects!
