Trades Services Welder / Metalworker Perth Casual 4/9/2026 Immediate Start Workshop Based Our client is seeking experienced Qualified Boilermakers to join their team for an upcoming fabrication project.
These positions offer immediate starts and the opportunity to work on large-scale structural steel and heavy plate fabrication projects in a workshop setting.
Key Responsibilities Heavy plate fabrication and structural steel assembly Fitting gusset plates, flange plates and web stiffeners Fabrication of tubular connections Reading and interpreting workshop drawings MIG and Flux Core welding to approved welding procedures Producing fillet welds and full penetration welds Ensuring welds meet quality standards and pass NDT requirements Working safely and efficiently within a workshop environment To Be Successful You Will Have Trade qualification in Boilermaking/Fabrication Demonstrated experience with heavy plate fabrication Strong MIG and Flux Core welding experience Ability to perform high-quality fillet and full penetration welds Experience working to welding procedures and quality standards Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Reliable transport and strong work ethic What's on Offer Immediate start available Workshop-based role in Wangara Ongoing project work Consistent hours with overtime available Opportunity to work with a reputable fabrication company Competitive hourly rate based on experience If you meet the requirements above and believe you can add value to our client's team, then APPLY NOW!
