Drainer - Silverstone Energy Pty Ltd Location: Subiaco, WA **** Salary: $55 to $65 per hour plus superannuation Employment: Full-time Stand-out Advantages Competitive salary package plus superannuation Full-time opportunity with an established WA mining services company Work across civil construction and water infrastructure projects Position Overview Silverstone is seeking an experienced Drainer to support its civil construction and water infrastructure operations.
The role will focus on below-ground civil drainage and surface-water systems for mining, infrastructure and industrial projects across Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities Read and interpret civil drainage drawings, plans and specifications.
Set out drainage routes, levels, grades and falls according to project requirements.
Excavate and prepare trenches, bedding and foundations for drainage installations.
Install, join and maintain below-ground drainage pipes, pits, culverts, outlets and associated components.




Inspect and test drainage systems, identify faults or blockages, and complete necessary repairs.
Backfill, compact and reinstate work areas following installation.
Work safely with Silverstone's civil and water infrastructure teams and comply with project quality requirements.
Skills and Experience Relevant trade qualification or equivalent relevant experience as a Drainer Demonstrated experience with civil drainage and surface-water systems Ability to interpret drainage plans and work accurately to specified levels and grades Knowledge of trench preparation, pipe installation, backfilling and compaction Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements Construction White Card and valid driver's licence Ability to work independently and as part of a project team DEVA****
