Job Description
n
$65 per hour, casual flat rate
n
Ongoing shutdown work across the Pilbara
n
FIFO from Perth Airport
n
n
Join our vastly diverse Northwest division, conducting boilermaking and welding duties on multiple projects across the Pilbara Region.
n
THE ROLE
n
n
Inspect, select, and install rigging gear and lifting equipment.
n
Plan and execute safe lifting and load movement operations.
n
Attach loads using slings, chains, shackles, spreader bars, and other lifting devices.
n
Direct crane operators and doggers during lifting activities.
n
Assemble and dismantle structural steel, conveyors, pipes, and mining plant equipment.
n
Conduct pre-start inspections and ensure lifting gear is maintained and compliant.
n
Work in accordance with site safety procedures, permits, and Australian standards.
n

ABOUT YOU
n
n
High Risk Work Licence (Rigging: Intermediate or Advanced)
n
Happy to assist other trades on a regular basis
n
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in the mining industry
n
Police Check (or ability to obtain one)
n
White card
n
Proactive, teamwork skills, and high safety standards
n
n
