Job Description
Production Forklift Driver
n
Our client is seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and motivated Production Forklift Driver to join their manufacturing operation based in Virginia, SA.
n
This hands-on role is ideal for an experienced forklift operator who enjoys working in a rapid-paced production environment. You will play a key role in ensuring materials are supplied to machinery, finished products are moved efficiently, and production runs smoothly throughout the day.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently within a manufacturing setting.
n
Ensure materials and products are moved to the correct locations to support daily operations.
n
Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting stock as required.
n
Accurately check products, labels, and documentation before moving goods.
n
Support production and warehouse teams to maintain a smooth workflow.
n
Assist with stock control activities, including inventory checks and stocktakes.
n
Maintain clean, organised, and safe work areas.
n
Assist with general production, warehouse, and housekeeping duties as required.
n
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.
n
Follow all workplace health, safety, quality, and company procedures.
n

About You
n
n
A current LF Forklift License.
n
Previous forklift experience within a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
n
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
n
Good communication and teamwork skills.
n
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
n
The ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment.
n
Willingness to assist with general production and housekeeping duties.
n
Experience with stock control systems or SAP is advantageous but not essential.
n
Full Australian working rights.
n

Working Hours
n
n
As part of a seasonal industry, working hours will vary depending on customer orders, production requirements, and fresh produce demand.
n
During the busy summer season, shifts may increase to up to 12 hours per day, with start times as early as 6:00am and finish times extending to 6:00pm.
n
Overtime and weekend work may be required during peak production periods.
n
Flexibility to work varying hours is essential.
n
