Job Description
Protech are currently seeking an experienced Front End Loader / Forklift Operator to join a fertiliser plant operation based at Cairns Wharf. This is a great opportunity for operators looking to secure steady work in Cairns through to Christmas with a well-established local operation.
n ABOUT THE ROLE

Casual position
n
Monday to Friday roster
n
$***** per hour
n
Occasional night shifts and weekend work required
n
Peak season role with work available through to Christmas ****
n
Based at Cairns Wharf
n
Working within a fertiliser processing and distribution facility
n
n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
n
n
Operate Front End Loader and Forklift safely and efficiently
n
Load and unload fertiliser products
n
Assist with general yard and plant operations
n
Maintain stockpiles and storage areas
n
Complete pre-start inspections and basic equipment housekeeping
n
Follow all site safety procedures and workplace requirements
n
Assist with general labouring duties as required
n
n
TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
n
n
Demonstrated Front End Loader operating experience
n
Current Forklift Licence (LF)
n




Construction White Card preferred
n
Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
n
Availability to work occasional night shifts and weekends
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Previous experience in a warehouse, yard, plant or bulk materials environment highly regarded
n
