Compas is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to join a Federal Government Department for a long-term engagement. The Technical Lead will act as a subject matter expert, providing technical advice, solutions, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
n

Lead the development of enterprise-wide cloud and IT solution architectures aligned with strategic business goals.
n
Oversee the specification and design of complex IT systems integrating cloud services, legacy platforms, and emerging technologies.
n
Direct engineering teams across cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and security domains, ensuring delivery excellence.
n
Manage integration and delivery of technical staff and vendors.
n
Champion innovation in cloud engineering practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Desired Skills and Experience
n
n
Experience in leading delivery of cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IT systems engineering.
n
proven leadership in engineering management and technical strategy.
n
Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud security.
