IT Technician Traineeship
(Hardware/Printers)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Traineeship with our client who is providing business solutions across all aspects of Print, Information Technology and Communications. This position is a 2 Year Traineeship that will see you enrolled in a Certificate 4 in Information Technology.

Based in West Ryde, our Ideal candidate is someone who has a genuine curiosity about how things work. Someone who can safely pull apart a mechanical item and then correctly put it back together.

No experience or qualifications required, all provided during Certificate 4 in Information Technology

Work Monday to Friday 38 hours per week
n
Job security support and mentoring throughout the duration of your Traineeship

What will you be doing?
n
n
Providing service and support to the customer base
n




Conducting IT repairs and maintenance
n
Completing equipment run-up and installation
n
Applying fault-finding techniques to diagnose issues
n
Troubleshooting
n
Liaising with companies in relation to their IT equipment
n
n
Does this sound like you?
n
You may already have some experience in IT through a relevant pre-apprenticeship, work experience or have a genuine interest in IT. The successful candidate needs to have valuable attention and an eye for detail.

What do you need?

Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
n
Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to be eligible for the Traineeship
n
Hold an Australian Drivers license and own transport
n
n
Eligibility criteria applies for this program in relation to prior qualifications
