We're partnering with a growing insurance business in
Sydney's CBD
who are looking for an experienced
Claims Manager
to lead a team of Claims Officers and take ownership of the claims function.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll have a strong influence across
claims performance, customer outcomes, team development and process improvement.
The Role
Lead, coach and develop a team of Claims Officers
Oversee complex, high-risk and escalated claims
Monitor claims quality, KPIs, SLAs and performance
Drive improvements across claims processes and customer experience
Oversee recoveries and subrogation
Manage relationships with loss adjusters, investigators, repairers and legal providers
Handle customer escalations and support claims governance and compliance




We're looking for someone with:
5+ years' claims leadership experience
Commercial
Property & Casualty / General Insurance
experience
Proven people leadership and coaching skills
Solid technical claims and regulatory knowledge
Experience managing complex claims and external service providers
Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
