Job Description
As a Senior Subdivision Engineer / Designer, you will play a key role in the production of major and minor Subdivision/URD developments from concept through detailed design, working closely with stakeholders to deliver high quality, safe, and compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities
n
Develop overhead and underground subdivision projects, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
n
Develop detailed public lighting designs (Rate 2 & 3) for subdivision projects.
n
Undertake electrical calculations.
n
Liaise with clients, DNSPs, local authorities and other key stakeholders.
n
Interpret and apply National, State and Local standards and specifications.
n
Support and participate in design coordination and clash-detection.
n
Mentor junior staff and contribute to project QA and delivery excellence.
n
About you
n
Five years' current design experience in the Energex and/or Ergon space.
n
Proven background working on subdivision projects, ideally in QLD.
n
Comprehensive knowledge of OH and UG network standards (LV to 33kV).
n
Engineering survey experience for line profiling and route selection.
n
Experience with relevant engineering design software (e.g. CATAN, Poles N Wires, AutoCAD, Perfect Lite/AGI32).
n
Organised and comfortable juggling different priorities.
n
Confident communicating with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders.
n
A team player who enjoys working with different people.
n
Strong attention to detail.
n
Excellent communication, teamwork, and client-facing skills.
n
RPEQ or working towards registration is a bonus.
