The Opportunity:
n
As a Mobile Plant Mechanic – Field Service based in Fairfield, you will travel throughout the Sydney metropolitan area providing diagnostic, repair and maintenance support across a range of Komatsu mobile plant equipment.
n
Working independently in the field, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality service outcomes, building strong customer relationships and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
n
n
Deliver high-quality field service support across customer sites throughout Sydney Metro
n
Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mobile plant equipment
n
Complete preventative maintenance and inspections in accordance with OEM standards
n
Accurately document diagnostic findings, repairs and service activities
n
Submit timesheets and required paperwork within required timeframes
n
Maintain all site inductions, licences and compliance requirements
n
Identify and elevate technical or customer issues where required
n




Build robust working relationships with customers while representing Komatsu professionally
n
Participate in ongoing technical development and OEM training programs
n
n
Roster:
n
Monday to Friday – 40-hour work week.
n
Hourly Rate:
n
Up to $***** - $***** per hour + super + overtime + tool of trade vehicle
n

What we are looking for:
n
n
Trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Vehicle, Diesel Fitting or equivalent
n
Previous experience working on mobile plant equipment (essential)
n
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
n
Experience carrying out repairs, maintenance and inspections on construction, mining or earthmoving equipment
n
Ability to work independently across multiple customer sites
n
Strong commitment to safety, quality and customer service
n
Current driver's licence
n
General knowledge of Microsoft programs and service systems
n
