This role is about creating connection and supporting the wellbeing of staff at Ayers Rock Resort through development and coordination of wellbeing activities.
n
Based at Ulu r u, Ayers Rock Resort, you will be part of a dedicated Wellbeing Team working in partnership with our staff and community stakeholders.
n
About the role:
n
As the Community Wellbeing & Engagement Coordinator, you will:
n
n
Design and coordinate an innovative activities program that enhances the social, emotional, spiritual and cultural wellbeing of a multicultural workforce, with an emphasis on the cultural safety of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff.
n
Coordinate communication and promotion for the activities program to promote engagement by Voyages employees and eligible residents.
n
Program Delivery & Evaluation: coordinate effective delivery of program activities and, in consultation with the GM of Wellbeing, evaluate activities to promote program outcomes and continual enhancement.
n
Maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally to effectively deliver program outcomes.
n

About you:
n
We are seeking someone who is:
n
n
Passionate about working with people to improve their social and emotional wellbeing in a remote community setting.
n
Proven experience in the design and delivery of a coordinated activities program to enhance the social and emotional wellbeing of participants.
n
A confident communicator with solid coordination skills within a cross-cultural and complex working environment.
n
Flexible, reliable and culturally respectful in all aspects of your work
n
Awareness of and sensitivity to Aboriginal cultures and history, knowledge of current issues affecting the lives of Aboriginal people and a willingness to incorporate Aboriginal perspectives and culturally safe approaches into program design and delivery.
n
Holds (or is willing to obtain) an NT Working with Children Check (Ochre card) and open Australian Driver's License.
n
n
Lived experience, community language skills and cultural knowledge are highly valued. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
