We are seeking a
Senior to Principal Environmental Scientist / Engineer (Contaminated Land)
to join our Sydney team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced professional to lead the delivery of complex contaminated land projects, provide technical leadership, mentor emerging professionals, and contribute to the continued growth of our Environmental business.
You'll be supported by experienced technical and project leaders and will play a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver complex contaminated land investigations, assessments, and remediation projects
Provide technical leadership and oversight of high-quality interpretive reporting
Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and client expectations
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, regulators, and stakeholders
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and contribute to proposal development
Mentor and support the development of junior and mid-level environmental professionals
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across major infrastructure, energy, water, and resource projects
Provide strategic advice on contaminated land, PFAS, hazardous materials, and environmental risk management
About You
Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
Certified Environmental Practitioner
8+ years' experience in contaminated land, PFAS, and hazardous materials
Well-developed report writing skills with excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Proven ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
Robust project and time management capabilities
Willingness to travel for short-term fieldwork assignments
Current driver's licence and ability to undertake field-based work
