Assistant
to support daily café operations at our Moorebank location. Working closely with our Food & Beverage Manager, you'll help deliver high‐quality food preparation, barista service and customer experience within a busy corporate café environment.
You'll assist with breakfast and lunch service, prepare fresh food items, operate the POS system, maintain café presentation, and ensure all customers — staff, visitors and clients — receive friendly, professional service.
This role suits someone energetic, organised and confident working across both front‐of‐house and kitchen support, with a strong commitment to safety, cleanliness and customer care.
Responsibilities:
Take and process customer orders, including food and beverages
Provide menu recommendations and answer customer questions
Keep work areas clean and organised
Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling practices are followed
Follow good personal hygiene practices, such as regular handwashing
Restocking items as needed
What you can offer
:
Previous experience as a cafe assistant or hospitality is preferred
Ideally possess a barista certificate
Self‐motivated with a strong focus on safety, the environment and compliance
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team




Customer‐focused with a high level of attention to detail
Excellent organisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Ability to maintain a clean and neat personal appearance
Clear criminal background with police check dated within 12 months
