About the role
Lead day-to-day housekeeping operations to ensure hospital-grade cleaning, linen and waste services are delivered safely, consistently and in line with COBL policies, cleaning schedules and audit expectations.
Your key responsibilities
Effective and efficient staff rostering ensuring high-quality service standards are met
Supervise and support the housekeeping team to meet service standards.
Complete cleaning schedules, checklists and required documentation.
Conduct walk-throughs/spot checks and drive corrective actions.
Support training, onboarding and coach-and-feedback.
Maintain infection prevention and control practices (PPE, chemicals, contaminated linen/waste).
Support WHS by reporting hazards and following safe work procedures.
Respond to audit/inspection findings and support continuous improvement.
About you
Experience in housekeeping/environmental services in a health, hospitality or facilities setting.
Proven ability to lead a team.
Strong understanding of infection prevention and control.
Experience with cleaning schedules, checklists and audits.
Knowledge of protected chemical handling and correct PPE use.
Desirable
Hospital or healthcare experience.
Experience supporting accreditation or internal audit programs.
Relevant qualification in facilities/hospitality (or equivalent experience).
Essential Requirements

Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
National Police Check (within the last 6 months or willingness to obtain)
Compliance with Category A immunisation requirements
