The Anindilyakwa Land Council (ALC) is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Health & Safety Business Partner to join the ALC Team, for an immediate start. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a unique and wide-ranging role where your contributions will make a tangible difference. Responsibilities include but not limited to;
working collaboratively with department Managers to embed a proactive health and safety culture,
develop, interpret and implement WHS policies and processes and frameworks in accordance with relevant legislation,
lead and oversee investigations and case management ensuring procedural fairness is undertaken
manage end-to-end Comcare claims and act as the main point of contact with Comcare and the Land Council to ensure PCBU obligations are adhered to
incidents and hazard reporting and conducting risk assessments
design wellbeing programs and initiatives
manage WHS projects including change management processes from a risk perspective
driving continuous improvement and promoting best practice.
Reporting into the Head of People & Culture, you will be responsible for delivering the full remit of health and safety functions for the Land Council.
Competitive hourly rate plus 25% casual loading
