Engineering Trades Australia is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established manufacturing operation based in Yatala.

This is a great opportunity for a trade-qualified fitter looking for stable Monday-Friday work, consistent hours and no weekend shifts, within a small and experienced maintenance team.

The Prospect

Location: Yatala, QLD

Hours:38 hours per week
n
Monday-Thursday:6:30am - 2:30pm
n
Friday:6:00am - 1:00pm
n
Overtime:Available, generally 2-8 hours as required
n
Pay:$*****-$*****/hr + super

About the Role
n
Working as part of a small maintenance team, you will be responsible for keeping production equipment and plant operating safely and efficiently.
n
The role will involve a combination ofpreventative maintenance, breakdown maintenance, fault finding, repairs and general mechanical maintenanceacross a busy manufacturing environment.
n

Compressors

Pumps
n
Hydraulic control systems

Production machinery
n
Mechanical plant and equipment

General workshop and maintenance equipment

About You
n
We are ideally looking for an experienced Maintenance / Mechanical Fitter with:
n
n
7+ years' maintenance experience ideally
n
Robust manufacturing or production environment experience
n
Proven preventative and breakdown maintenance experience
n
Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
n
Experience with hydraulics, pumps, conveyors and compressors
n
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team
n
Strong safety awareness and a practical approach to problem solving
n

Highly Desirable
n
