BiomeBank is seeking a Graduate Scientist to join its Research & Development team in Adelaide. This is an exciting opportunity to build your technical capability while contributing to evidence-based research, product development and innovation within the biotechnology industry. Working alongside experienced scientists, you'll gain practical exposure to experimental work, laboratory techniques, data analysis and quality processes in a collaborative R&D; environment. About the Role. With guidance and supervision from the R&D; team, you will:
Assist with the preparation and execution of experimental plans
Conduct routine laboratory and experimental activities
Collect and analyse data and contribute to draft reports
Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and electronic records
Follow approved laboratory methods, protocols and procedures
Develop your knowledge of scientific methods, laboratory techniques and data analysis
Assist with laboratory equipment, housekeeping and compliance activities
Participate in team meetings and cross‐functional projects
Work in accordance with quality, safety, ethical and regulatory requirements.

About You
This role would suit someone who has recently completed or is nearing completion of a relevant science degree and is eager to begin their career in a hands‐on laboratory and R&D; environment.
You'll bring:
A Bachelor's degree, or near completion, in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or a related field
Practical laboratory experience gained through university, placement, internship or early‐career employment
A basic understanding of microbiology, molecular biology, biotechnology or a related scientific discipline
Strong attention to detail and an appreciation for accurate record keeping
Curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn
The ability to follow established procedures and work effectively under supervision
Good communication and teamwork skills.
