About the Role
n
We are looking for proactive and safety-driven Site Supervisors to join our team, supporting our Burleigh Heads and Stapylton sites.
n
As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the end-to-end safe, efficient and compliant operation of a BINGO transfer station / recycling facility. You'll be a hands‐on leader who thrives in a fast‐paced environment and is passionate about building high‐performing teams.
n
You'll lead from the front—driving a strong safety culture, ensuring operational excellence, and developing a high-performing team.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Lead and maintain a robust safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with all Safety, Environment and Quality (SEQ) policies, procedures and licence conditions
n
Manage the day-to-day operations of the site, including:
n
Performance and uptime of plant and equipment
n
Throughput and operational efficiency
n
Stock control (incoming and outgoing materials)
n
Waste sorting and resource recovery processes
n
Traffic management and vehicle coordination
n
Monitor all vehicles entering and leaving site, ensuring accurate data capture and compliance
n
Deliver a high standard of customer service, resolving issues professionally and efficiently
n
Direct and manage all visitors onsite, ensuring safe movement, induction and compliance
n
Lead, coach and develop team members, building capability and future leadership pipelines
n
Manage team performance, providing regular feedback and support
n
Plan,



prioritise and coordinate site activities to meet operational targets
n
Proactively identify risks to safety and productivity and implement solutions
n
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency and site performance
n
Maintain site presentation, including internal and external areas
n
Act as the key point of contact for external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities (EPA, Council, etc.)
n
Complete reporting and administrative requirements in line with operational and compliance expectations
n
About You
n
Prior experience in a leadership role in a fast paced highly regulated operational environment
n
Experience effectively leading, developing and building teams
n
Working knowledge of fixed and mobile plant and machinery Demonstrated experience in the effective transfer and application of knowledge of principles to practices
n
Demonstrated experience in the application of workplace health and safety practices and procedures
n
Experience with the use of computer and a working knowledge of office software packages (MS Office)
n
