Experience estimating transmission or utility electrical infrastructure projects
Proven exposure to HV substations from 132kV to 500kV preferred
Strong knowledge of transformers, GIS/AIS switchgear and HV systems
Understanding of protection, control, SCADA and communications systems
Ability to interpret electrical and civil design documentation
Strong commercial awareness and contract understanding
Electrical Engineering qualification, trade background or equivalent experience.
A successful Electrical Estimator should have:
Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
Experience in estimating within the construction industry, particularly in the energy and natural resources sector.
Strong analytical and numerical skills for preparing accurate cost estimates.
Proficiency in using estimation software and tools.
Knowledge of Australian construction standards and electrical regulations.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal teams.
Attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
