About the Role TRS Resourcing is seeking experienced Industrial Electricians and Automotive Electricians to join a specialist equipment manufacturer in Melbourne's western suburbs.
n
This opportunity would suit qualified tradespeople with experience across heavy vehicles, industrial electrical systems, PLCs, control systems, wiring looms, diagnostics and equipment installation.
n
The position offers long‐term project continuity, with a strong pipeline of work extending through **** and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Complete electrical assembly, installation, servicing and maintenance
n
Work on heavy‐duty vehicles, prime movers and specialised commercial equipment
n
Fabricate and install electrical enclosures, wiring harnesses and components
n
Read and interpret circuit diagrams, engineering drawings and workshop documentation
n




Perform electrical fault‐finding, diagnostics and repairs
n
Install, configure and test PLCs and control systems
n
Route, terminate, label and test wiring looms
n
Ensure work meets safety, quality and technical requirements
n
Work independently and as part of an experienced workshop team
n

What You'll Need
n
n
Relevant electrical or automotive electrical trade qualification
n
Industrial and/or automotive electrical experience
n
Experience with PLCs, control systems or vehicle‐mounted electrical equipment
n
Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering documentation
n
Strong fault‐finding and diagnostic skills
n
Basic personal hand tools
n
Two recent professional referees
n
Current residence in Melbourne, Victoria
n
Legal right to work in Australia
n
