Working in a Respite facility, hosting up to 18 clients a day + working with clients in the Community
Daily tasks in:
Personal care (dressing, showering, shaving, toileting)
Socialising activities
Meal preparation (assisting in the kitchen with cooking, cleaning, meal presentation, etc)
Domestic Assistance (cleaning)

We are seeking those with a passion for caring for the elderly who want to start their career with a caring, supportive, and progressive company.
Our client, a well-established healthcare organisation, is seeking new team members (trainees) to join their Respite Care team.
No experience or qualification is required.
You will be trained on the job, in Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC*****). If successful, you will be assisting the elderly in a residential aged care setting with their daily lifestyle and activities.
We are expanding this team to deal with the increase in new residents and the growth of the industry.
This role is a part-time contract for 15 hours a week, and you will have the ability to work up to 35 hours a week.
You will be offered a set 24-month contract for the traineeship. Once qualified, within ******* months, you can be moved to a qualified role.
You will be partnered with a workplace buddy/mentor who will work with you to train you on the job and support and guide you. You will also receive support from the Facility Leadership Team, Learning and Development Team, Registered Training Organisation, and Ternary throughout your full traineeship.

Ability to pass a National Police Check (we will get this for you)
Must have valid working rights in Australia already and reside in Australia
To access State Funding (for the training), must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen
Have regular availability to work Monday to Friday + weekends between 7:00am - 10:00pm
Must have a current NSW Driver Licence, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle.
Hold a current First Aid & CPR Certificate or be willing to obtain.
