You'll help define and maintain testing standards within your team. You'll be expected to write and maintain code, contribute to code reviews and help set the standard for high-quality engineering.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead testing activities within your engineering team.
Contribute directly to the software codebase.
Design, write and maintain automated tests.




Help define and maintain testing standards and approaches.
Contribute to code reviews and promote high engineering standards.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Contribute to CI/CD and release processes.
Work with complex and sometimes confusing legacy applications.
Contribute to the design and delivery of high-quality software.
Bring your own ideas and opinions around how software should be tested and how quality can be maintained.
What you'll bring:
Strong hands-on coding skills in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
Experience writing automated tests.
Experience building and running CI/CD pipelines.
Experience designing and delivering high-quality software.
Experience working with complex legacy applications, or a willingness to get stuck into them.
Strong opinions around how software should be tested and quality assured.
A willingness to challenge existing approaches and contribute ideas.
The ability to form opinions based on experience and evidence, while remaining open to changing your approach when presented with conflicting data
