OVERVIEW The Deputy Manager, Future Students (Domestic) is a full-time continuing role within the International and Future Students portfolio at anu. Based in Canberra, the position supports domestic student recruitment activities and provides leadership to a recruitment team within the Future Students Domestic team. The role contributes to recruitment strategies, market plans, and student engagement initiatives designed to support future growth. The portfolio includes international and domestic recruitment, admissions, scholarships, and the ANU International Office, with a focus on supporting students across Australia and internationally.
Key responsibilities
Provide leadership and management to a recruitment team
Contribute to domestic student recruitment strategies, market plans, and initiatives
Manage the recruitment pipeline
Support student conversion activities and achievement of recruitment targets




Monitor KPIs related to recruitment performance
Attend recruitment events
Engage with prospective students
Maintain relationships with schools and stakeholders
Support domestic and international student acquisition and engagement activities
Requirements
Experience leading and managing a recruitment team
Ability to contribute to recruitment strategies and market plans
Capability to manage recruitment pipeline activities
Ability to support recruitment target achievement and conversion outcomesExperience monitoring KPIs
Ability to engage with prospective students and external stakeholders
