We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to support the day-to-day operation of our school by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across the site.
The successful applicant will take pride in their work, have good attention to detail and be able to work independently while contributing positively to the school team. This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.28FTE), 21.5 hours per fortnight. Working across 5 days per week, shifts will be scheduled outside school hours, with the option of morning or afternoon shifts. Hours are 2.25 hours per day for 3 days and 2 hours per day for 2 days.

Your Opportunity
Contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support.
Ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.
Responsibilities
Clean and sanitise classrooms, offices, toilets, sick bays and common areas.
Sweep, vacuum, mop and maintain vinyl, timber and hard-floor surfaces.
Clean windows, doors, furniture, fixtures, equipment and other surfaces.
Manage rubbish, litter, cobwebs, mildew and graffiti.
Maintain and safely operate cleaning equipment.
Ensure cleaning tasks are completed to the required school cleaning standards.
Monitor and report safety, security, damage and maintenance concerns.
Activate and disarm security systems and lock/unlock buildings as required.
Liaise with the Principal or Business Manager regarding cleaning supplies and equipment.
Direct members of the public to the appropriate school personnel when required.
Follow relevant health, safety, security and workplace procedures.
