About the positions
We are seeking one (2) Non-Executive Directors.
The positions requires attendance at and contribution to OneCare Board Meetings as well as appointment to a Board Committee/s as determined by the Board Chair. The role of the Non-Executive Director is to work with fellow Directors and the CEO to bring an impartial and objective perspective to the governance structure of the organisation.
As a Non-Executive Director, you will have strong strategic leadership skills, preferably with extensive aged care industry knowledge, strong financial acumen, risk management expertise, strong stakeholder engagement and a focus on transparency, accountability and ethical decision-making.
If you are looking for an opportunity to work within the Aged Care sector and preferably have capacity to attend face-to-face monthly meetings at various locations within Tasmania, we are keen to hear from you.
What you bring to the role:
The successful applicant will be expected to have:
A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
An Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) qualification (or equivalent) and/or experience working within a Governing Body.
A current NDIS Endorsed Working with Vulnerable People Check.




The successful applicant will possess skills and/or knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
Very robust contemporary clinical care experience pertaining to the aged care industry.
Experience with significant IT projects, including systems that support clients and staff, along with governance of AI and its outcomes.
Contemporary aged care industry experience
Contemporary relevant strategy and leadership expertise in regulated organisations.
Relevant financial/ accounting knowledge and expertise
An effective and respectful team member who demonstrates empathy but has the capacity to question and challenge, with sound communication skills.
