Governance Officer - Aged Care | Adelaide
Redstone are currently seeking an experienced
Governance Officer
to join a leading aged care organisation in Adelaide!
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience across
aged care governance, compliance, quality, risk and continuous improvement
who wants to play an important role in maintaining high standards of care and supporting regulatory compliance.
You will work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to ensure governance frameworks, policies and processes are effectively implemented and continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities
Support the organisation's
governance, quality and compliance frameworks
Monitor compliance with the
Aged Care Act, Quality Standards and relevant legislation
Assist with internal audits, compliance reviews and risk assessments
Maintain governance registers, reporting systems and compliance documentation
Identify areas of risk and support the development and implementation of corrective actions
Assist with
incident management, investigations and continuous improvement
Prepare governance, compliance and quality reports for senior management
Support policy development, review and implementation
Monitor and report on key quality and compliance indicators




Work collaboratively with clinical and operational teams to promote a strong
quality and risk culture
Assist with regulatory reporting and preparation for external audits and reviews
Ensure governance processes remain current and aligned with industry requirements
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Previous experience in a
governance, quality, compliance or risk role within aged care
Strong understanding of the Australian aged care regulatory environment
Knowledge of the
Aged Care Quality Standards
Strong analytical, reporting and documentation skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
The ability to identify risks and develop practical solutions
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
The confidence to work with senior leaders and operational teams
A proactive approach to continuous improvement
The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a wider team
