Applications are invited for the position of an Educator at Wycliffe Preschool.Essential QualitiesBe deeply committed to Christian EducationHold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and CareHold an approved First Aid Qualification and CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training (HLTAID012)Demonstrate an understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.Attention to detail, especially in relation to documentation relevant to the role and all other communication processes.Ability to work collaboratively with others and within a team environmentDemonstrate flexibility in your ability to respond to needs of childrenA commitment to service and to excellence in teaching and learningHave a caring,



calm and responsible mannerHave completed the National Safety Training Foundational modulesDuties and ResponsibilitiesTo provide one on one support for children with additional needsTo assist with adjusting tasks/activities/routines to suit the child and their needsTo help develop and deliver a child's Individual Learning Plan (ILP)Assist in the implementation of a play based learning workplace responsive to all children's interests, strengths and abilitiesUtilise daily routines as learning opportunitiesReflecting Christ through shared relationships and educational programsImplementing the service's philosophy when undertaking all duties; allowing the philosophy to guide pedagogy and teaching decisionsDeveloping strong learning partnerships with parentsDevelopment of committed and caring relationships with children of the preschoolImplementing the policies and associated procedures of Wycliffe Preschool at all timesWorking in accordance with the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law (National Law) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (National Regulations)Working in accordance with the Code of Ethics Early Childhood AustraliaSupport a safe, healthy and clean indoor and outdoor environment for childrenWorking with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of the services operations
