Your Impact as an Early Childhood Teacher
Role
As an Early Childhood Teacher at Harmony, you will play a vital role in shaping children's learning, wellbeing and future success.
You will:
Lead your studio with intentional, play-based and inquiry-driven teaching practicesChampion children's voices, rights, cultures and identities in everyday learning experiencesPlan, document and assess learning with purpose, curiosity and a strong understanding of child developmentBuild meaningful, respectful relationships with children, families and the wider communityCollaborate closely with your Educational Leader and fellow educators to deliver high-quality outcomesCreate engaging learning environments that inspire creativity, exploration and critical thinkingBring the EYLF V2.0 and QKLG to life through rich, meaningful and responsive learning experiencesSupport children's transitions, school readiness and continuity of learningModel professionalism, reflective practice and ethical decision-making in all aspects of your work

You Bring
A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)Completion of the National Child Safety Training via Geccko, with a current certificate of completionStrong knowledge of EYLF v2.0, QKLG and contemporary pedagogyPassion for intentional teaching, play-based learning & inquiryA reflective, cooperative and curious approachExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsA commitment to child and cultural safetyA warm, engaging presence that children are naturally drawn to
