Isaac Regional Council is seeking a skilled Electrician/ SCADA Technician to join our Water and Waste Directorate, located in Moranbah, and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing essential services across the region.In this diverse, hands-on role, you'll deliver expert electrical, maintenance, programming and SCADA support across our water and wastewater facilities, helping ensure secure, reliable services for our communities.

If you thrive in a safety-focused environment, enjoy problem-solving and are ready for a role that combines technical challenge with genuine community benefit, we'd love to hear from you.To be successful in this position, you will:Hold a current Electrical Trade qualification, relevant Australian electrical licence, Construction White Card, and C Class Open Driver's LicenceDemonstrate experience in electrical maintenance, installation and fault finding within industrial or infrastructure environmentsHave hands-on experience with SCADA systems, PLCs, RTUs and telemetry equipment, including programming and system upgradesApply strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve electrical and automation faults,



minimising downtimeContribute to planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance in collaboration with operational teamsEnsure all work complies with Electrical Safety legislation, regulations, standards and Council safety systemsBe willing to participate in an on-call roster, work flexibly across multiple sites, and meet mandatory health requirements including pre-employment medicals and immunisationsIf you are successful in this position, you will receive:Salary $73,****** per annum (Level C10, Stream C) plus allowances, including:-Tool of Trade Vehicle$21,000 Over Award PaymentConstruction workers allowanceLocality allowanceTool allowanceSubsidised Council Housing of $***** per weekNominally 38 hours per week with flexible work pattern options5 weeks annual leave per annum @ 17.5% loading15 days personal leave per annumUp to 14.5% superannuation in accordance with Council PolicyDiscounted Corporate Health Cover through multiple providers with competitive extras and coverage benefitsActive Social Club, and much more!
