With a robust focus on reliability and innovation, the business is currently undertaking a major finance system transformation.This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded accountant with a passion for systems, data, and process improvement to join a high-performing finance team.
Working closely with Finance, IT, and operational stakeholders, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimising financial systems, ensuring data integrity, and enhancing reporting capabilities across the business.The ChallengeReporting to the Finance Systems Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Maintaining and supporting accounting systems and related applications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliancePerforming configuration, testing, validation, and support of system upgrades, enhancements, and changesEnsuring the integrity, quality,



and consistency of financial data across multiple systems and reporting outputsSupporting month-end and year-end processes by ensuring system outputs reconcile accurately to the general ledgerDeveloping, maintaining, and enhancing standard and ad hoc financial reports using ERP systems, Excel, and Power BIIdentifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and reporting efficienciesDocumenting system processes, controls, data flows, and user guidesProviding support and troubleshooting assistance to finance system users across the businessAssisting with the maintenance and enhancement of internal controls embedded within financial systemsSupporting audits, system reviews, and control testing through the provision of data and reporting analysisContributing to finance transformation initiatives and projects involving system and data enhancementsThe ExpertisePlease consider expressing interest if you possess the following:5+ years' experience within a Financial Accountant, Systems Accountant, Finance Systems Analyst, or similar roleTertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related disciplineStrong understanding of general ledger structures, financial reporting, and accounting processes.Experience supporting ERP systems, system implementations, upgrades, or process improvement initiativesStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify data issues and implement practical solutionsCPA or CA qualification, or working towards completion, will be highly regarded
