Our vision is clear: young lives, lived to their full potential.The RoleWe are currently seeking permanent part-time Youth Workers with a therapeutic, person-centred approach who are:Available to work a minimum of 3-4 sleepover shifts per fortnightAvailable to work weekdays and weekendsAvailable to work in Manly and BelroseThis is an onsite position.
As a Youth Worker in our Out of Home Care (OOHC) team, you will support young people by engaging in daily living activities and developing essential life skills all while working as part of a supportive, values-driven team.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with young people to build life and independent living skillsSupport young people with daily routines such as cooking and cleaningOrganise and participate in activities that promote growth and wellbeingProvide consistent, trauma-informed,



person-centred careCollaborate with Case Managers & other professionals to support the young person's care planSupport family contact activities where appropriateMaintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactionsEssential RequirementsMust be available to work weekend sleepover shiftsMust be available to travel to Manly and Belrose for shiftsMinimum Certificate 3 in Youth Work, Community Services or related fieldMinimum of 1 year of experience in Out of Home Care or Foster Care settingsExperience working with young people impacted by traumaStrong de-escalation skills and understanding of therapeutic care approaches - TCI training an advantageCurrent Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)Current Driver's LicenceWhy Join Us?
