The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and ensuring flights are conducted in compliance with company policies and aviation regulations.This position will be on a touring roster flying from any major capital in Australia.Responsibilities Of The Role IncludeSafety and CommandEnsure the safety of aircraft operations and all persons on board.Maintain final authority over the aircraft during command, ensuring safe conduct of the flight.Regulatory ComplianceObserve all Regulatory and Client rules and regulations, and the relevant RFM.Follow Company directives and procedures during flight planning, pre-flight inspection, in-flight operations, and post-flight reporting.Flight Planning And CommunicationComplete flight planning and establish/maintain communications with the responsible authority, as necessary.Flight OperationsComplete flights as scheduled in a safe and timely manner.Make decisions on flight cancellations, delays, or amendments, reporting such circumstances to the Senior Base Pilot or Base & Contract Manager.Certification And TrainingEnsure all licenses, ratings, medical certificates, and proficiency requirements are current before undertaking any Air Transport flight activity.Provide timely advice to the Training Department,



Senior Base Pilot and Base & Contract Manager regarding the status of licenses, ratings, visa, medical certificates, or proficiency checks.Ensure training or testing required to maintain certifications is assigned in a timely manner.Crew DevelopmentProvide opportunities for Co-Pilots to increase their skill and knowledge in standard operating procedures, when appropriately approved by the Training Department.Administrative DutiesUndertake non-flying tasks such as paperwork, helicopter husbandry, and facility housekeeping as assigned by the Senior Base Pilot, Base & Contract Manager, or higher management.To be considered for this role, you will need a minimum of:AW189 type rating (essential)ATPL(H)Command Instrument RatingCASA Class 1 Medical Certificate500 hours offshore command4 years offshore experience, or two years offshore experience with one full year in Broome (all seasons)**** hrs rotary multi-engine multi-crew, or **** hrs rotary multi-engine multi-crew if **** hrs rotary offshore PIC**** hrs rotary multi-engine Pilot-in-Command Under Supervision (PICUS), or 500 hrs rotary multi-engine PICUS if **** hrs rotary offshore PIC.100 hrs of rotary night flight as pilot-in-command or as co-pilot, with a minimum of 25 hours of rotary night offshore timeAbout YouSound judgementInitiativeExcellent communication skillsExcellent relationship management skillsThe ability to work well in a teamBy joining our team, you will work in a rewarding and professional environment, with a diverse team of people sharing ideas and experiences.We offer an employee benefits package and access to a comprehensive wellbeing platform.If you have any questions about this position, please contact: .
