They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Beresfield Service Centre.This is an excellent temp-to-permanent opportunity for an experienced project skilled looking to take ownership of mechanical and engineering projects, initially supporting the delivery of significant Sydney Water projects.About the RoleReporting directly to the Service Centre Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from planning through to completion.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is experienced, commercially astute and comfortable taking ownership across project controls, contract administration, commercial management, client relationships and delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesManage project programmes, schedules and delivery milestonesCoordinate project documentation and document controlGenerate, coordinate and track QA documentationSupport safety documentation and compliance requirementsManage cash flow forecasting and project cost trackingPrepare monthly progress claims and supporting substantiationManage delay notifications, variations and contractual claimsCoordinate subcontractors and monitor performanceManage supplier compliance and onboardingProvide contract administration and commercial supportSupport site mobilisation,



accommodation and logistics planningAct as the primary point of contact for clientsCoordinate closely with internal engineering, manufacturing and site teamsAttend project sites as required, typically 2-4 visits per monthAbout YouYou will be an experienced Project Manager or Project Engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering, industrial projects or heavy engineering.Ideally, you will have:Proven experience managing engineering or mechanical projectsStrong project scheduling and project controls experienceCommercial and contract administration experienceExperience managing subcontractors and suppliersExperience with progress claims, cost tracking, variations and contractual mattersStrong client and stakeholder management skillsExcellent communication and organisational skillsThe ability to work autonomously and take ownership of project outcomesHighly Regarded ExperienceExperience in the following environments will be highly advantageous:Mechanical engineeringWater utilities or infrastructureMining or mineral processingHeavy engineering or manufacturingCapital equipment / engineered-to-order projectsExperience with SAP and MS Project or similar scheduling software will also be highly regarded.What's on Offer?
