The HR/OHS Specialist is a full-time, in office role based on the Gold Coast, responsible for supporting our people, managers and broader business across HR, workplace health and safety, and compliance.The role will help strengthen our people practices, support business growth and ensure SPL maintains a safe, compliant and positive workplace.Key responsibilitiesManage recruitment, onboarding, employee changes and offboardingSupport workforce planning and broader people initiatives aligned with business needsProvide practical HR advice and support to managers and employees across performance, employee relations and developmentDevelop, maintain and implement HR, OHS and compliance policies, procedures and frameworksMaintain accurate employee records, HR systems and compliance registersSupport compliance with the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, Modern Awards and relevant employment legislationCoordinate WHS/OHS requirements including risk assessments, incident management, corrective actions and workplace safety initiativesManage safety training, inductions, toolbox, licences and other compliance requirementsSupport workers' compensation and return-to-work processesContribute to employee engagement, workplace culture and continuous improvementAbout youStrong generalist HR/OHS experience across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, OHS compliance and HR operationsSound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and workplace health and safety requirementsStrong communication, organisation and problem-solving skillsRelevant qualification in HR, Business, OHS/WHS or a related field, or equivalent experienceExperience within a trade, security, construction, facilities or service-based environment will be highly regardedGold Coast located with Australian Work RightsAbout usSPL Security Solutions Pty Ltd has been operating since **** and has grown into a full-service electronic security,
