This isn't your typical "update the SWMS, tick the boxes and disappear" safety role.You'll be working alongside a highly experienced Safety Manager who will genuinely mentor you, while you become a key part of a young, energetic and growing second-generation commercial construction business delivering some seriously impressive projects across Sydney.The team all get together for social events, laughs, and the owners are hands-on and genuinely passionate about their people!
What you'll actually be doing:No two days will look the same...Working a ***** split between site and office — mostly on siteWorking alongside site teams, contractors and project managersReviewing, improving and modernising WHS/HSEQ systems and documentationManaging internal safety systems and keeping things movingSupporting tenders and live commercial projectsDelivering practical safety advice, training and toolbox talksIdentifying gaps and actually helping fix themWorking with the Safety Manager on continuous improvementBeing the person people come to when they need valuable, practical safety adviceWho are we looking for?




This is where we're pretty specific.You need 3+ years of HSEQ experience in Commercial Building & Construction.We are NOT looking for someone coming from:Residential BuildingAged CareMedicalManufacturingGeneral Industry environmentsYou need to understand construction sites, contractors, projects, documentation and the realities of getting work done safely.You'll also need:Cert IV in WHS minimumStrong commercial construction experienceWhite CardDriver's LicenceConfidence dealing with everyone from a Site Supervisor to a DirectorA practical, solutions-focused approachMost importantly...They want your brain.Your experience.

Your judgement.
