Kalpumps Sales and Service is seeking an experienced External Sales/Area Manager – Pumps to join our dynamic sales team in Perth, WA.
This is a full-time position for a proven pump industry skilled ready to take the next step in their career.
You will be responsible for developing client relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and promoting our comprehensive range of pump solutions to businesses across mine sites, processing plants, and agricultural operations throughout Western Australia.
This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and strengthening Kalpumps' position as the trusted pump partner across the sectors we serve.Please note this role requires regular regional travel, including approximately 3-4 nights away per month during busy periods, to service clients across our operating regions.Key responsibilitiesIdentify and pursue new sales opportunities across mining, processing, and agricultural sectorsBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clientsAssess client applications and recommend the correct pump solution for each operational requirementPresent and demonstrate pump solutions tailored to client specificationsPrepare and deliver quotations, proposals,



and sales presentationsCollaborate with the technical team on product specifications and technical accuracyMaintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactionsManage and grow your designated territory, including regular site visitsAchieve monthly and quarterly sales targetsWhat we're looking forMinimum 2-3 years' experience in pump sales or a closely related technical B2B sales roleSolid working knowledge of pump types, applications, and selection principlesProven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targetsStrong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse client basesAbility to work independently and manage a territory with minimal supervisionWillingness and ability to travel regionally, including overnight stays (3-4 nights per month during busy periods)A valid driver's licenceProficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales systemsKnowledge of mining, processing plant, or agricultural operations is highly advantageousWhat we offerAt Kalpumps Sales and Service, we invest in the development of our team members.
