Australia's mandatory climate reporting regime is reshaping how our clients plan, govern and disclose, and we're growing our climate change capability to meet that demand.About the roleWe are seeking a Senior Consultant, Climate & Sustainability to join our growing team at our West Perth office on a full-time basis.
This is a strategic role that sits at the heart of our ESG and Sustainability consulting practice.
This position will engage directly with clients and their stakeholders to identify and advance climate objectives, determine material climate risks and opportunities, and facilitate workshops that bring senior stakeholders along on that journey.Key responsibilitiesDetermine material climate risks and opportunitiesFacilitate workshops that bring senior stakeholders along on the climate journeyConduct climate scenario analyses and climate change risk assessmentsEmbed climate considerations into risk management,



strategic planning and governance frameworksSupport clients with climate-related data, reporting and disclosure obligationsDevelop and implement Climate Transition Plans and Emission Reduction PlansContribute to business development and proposal writingAbout youA degree in environmental science, sustainability, climate change or a related disciplineDemonstrable experience in climate and sustainability reporting, including frameworks such as AASB S2, TCFD and SBTiDemonstrable experience in climate scenario analyses, climate change risk assessments and stakeholder workshopsSome experience in a consulting workplace, with strong business development capabilitiesStrong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and educate stakeholders at all levelsSelf-motivated professional who brings established skills and credibilityExperience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, including with social, environmental, engineering, stakeholder engagement and communications specialistsWorking with a positive purposeWork-life balance and flexible workingNetworking and professional development opportunitiesBeing part of a multi-disciplinary team working on diverse projectsGenerous commission and bonus structure
