Rapid Perforating is an Australian-owned and operated company specialising in the manufacture of perforated metal, expanded metal, grating, handrails and custom metal products. Rapid Perforating is seeking a skilled and motivated Welders/Metal Fabricators to join their workshop team. The successful candidate will be committed to producing high-quality work that meets Australian standards while contributing to a protected and productive workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform welding to Rapid Perforating requirements and Australian Standard guidelines.
- Carry out cutting, grinding, and general metal fabrication tasks.
- Fabricate and weld products within both the grating and handrail departments.
- Assemble handrails and balustrades to specification.
- Read and interpret workshop drawings and fabrication plans.
- Design and build jigs for non-standard or custom items.
- Operate a variety of workshop machinery, equipment, and hand tools.
- Assist with general fabrication shop duties as required.




- Undertake other reasonable duties consistent with your skills, training, and experience.

Skills & Experience

- Relevant experience or qualifications for a similar role
- Australian Citizens & Permanent Residents only
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
