Our client is a specialist supplier of architectural tensile solutions, delivering structural cable, rod and tensioned mesh systems to the commercial construction market. Working alongside leading architects, engineers, builders and asset owners, they provide expert consulting, design support and turnkey project delivery on some of Australia's most innovative commercial and infrastructure projects.

With a growing national presence and an outstanding reputation for technical expertise and customer service, they are seeking an experienced Specification Manager to help drive specification opportunities across NSW.

About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager - Sales & Marketing, this is a strategic specification sales role focused on generating and converting project opportunities.

You'll work closely with architects, engineers, government stakeholders, developers and builders to engage projects early in the design lifecycle, influence specification outcomes and convert opportunities into secured projects.

Rather than focusing on transactional sales or high-volume quoting, you'll build long-term relationships with key decision makers and position the business as the preferred partner for architectural barrier and tensile systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and strengthen relationships with architects, engineers, and builders across NSW
- Engage projects at the concept and design stage to influence specification outcomes before tender
- Deliver CPD presentations, Lunch & Learn sessions and technical product presentations to key specification partners
- Identify opportunities where you can improve constructability, reduce project risk and enhance architectural outcomes
- Provide technical guidance, precedent projects and system recommendations throughout the design process
- Manage strategic project opportunities from design through to tender and project award
- Maintain sales pipeline within the CRM,



ensuring opportunities are prioritised based on strategic value and likelihood of success
- Work collaboratively with the Technical & Estimating team
- Monitor market activity, competitor movements and emerging design trends, providing valuable feedback to support business strategy
- Contribute to regular pipeline reporting, forecasting and continuous improvement initiatives

About You
To be successful in this role you'll be a commercially focused specification sales professional who enjoys building trusted relationships and influencing projects from concept through to completion.

You'll ideally bring:

- Proven experience in specification sales within architectural products, construction materials, façade systems, structural solutions or a related industry
- Strong understanding of the commercial construction and specification process
- Established relationships with architects, consulting engineers, and builders
- Demonstrated success influencing project specifications and securing commercial projects
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and prioritise high-value opportunities
- Technical aptitude and confidence discussing engineering or architectural solutions
- Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills
- A proactive, relationship-driven approach with the ability to work autonomously
- Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline activity

The Offer
The successful applicant will receive an attractive salary package commensurate with experience, with a base salary of $120K - $150K plus Superannuation, $20K Car Allowance and a lucrative incentive structure, as well as the prospect to establish yourself with an exciting and innovative Australian growth organisation!
