Are you a fully qualified Carpenter looking to step out of the toolbelt and transition into site leadership?

We have an immediate contract opportunity with an established Remedial Builder working on an active project in Sydney's Inner West. This role is structured as a clear leadership pathway: you will work directly alongside an experienced Site Supervisor to learn the specifics of the project before stepping up to lead the job autonomously as the Supervisor transitions to the next site.

The Role & Pathway

- Phase 1 (Onboarding & Training): Work side-by-side with the current Site Supervisor on-site, getting across the project scope, trade management, safety procedures, and quality measures.
- Phase 2 (Project Leadership): Take over day-to-day site coordination, driving subbie schedules, managing trade quality, enforcing safety standards, and keeping the job on track to practical completion.
- Hands-on Execution: Perform critical structural timber framing, substrate prep, formwork, hoarding, and detailing as required.

What We Are Looking For

- Trade Qualification: Cert III in Carpentry is essential.
- Carpentry Experience: Solid, proven track record executing high-quality timber and structural carpentry work.
- Remedial Exposure (Desired): Prior exposure to structural remedial works, balcony repairs, concrete spall prep, or building refurbishments is highly regarded.
- Leadership Ambition: Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the drive to lead trades and manage daily site activities.
- Tickets & Licensing: Valid NSW White Card, full Driver’s Licence, and your own trade tools. Working at Heights certification is a plus.
