About the role

Reporting to the Senior Retail Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end performance of a portfolio of X Convenience locations, including both Commission Agent and Company Operated sites. You will provide leadership and coaching to site teams while ensuring the consistent execution of operational standards, commercial initiatives, compliance requirements, and customer experience programs across the network.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and coach Commission Agents and Store Managers to achieve business objectives.

- Deliver sales growth, profitability, and operational performance across your region.

- Drive execution of food, coffee, fuel, and convenience retail strategies.

- Ensure sites consistently meet safety, compliance, and operational standards.

- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and grow local market share.

- Monitor site performance metrics and develop action plans to improve results.

- Support new store openings, projects, and strategic business initiatives.

- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across operations, marketing, category management, and support functions.

- Monitor and improve car wash performance and other site-based revenue opportunities.

- Champion a culture of accountability, engagement,



and continuous improvement.

About you

- Proven experience leading multiple retail, hospitality, convenience, or fuel sites.

- Strong commercial and financial acumen.

- Experience coaching leaders and developing high-performing teams.

- Demonstrated ability to influence and build strong stakeholder relationships.

- Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and operational risk management.

- A hands-on leadership style with excellent communication skills.

- The ability to analyse data and translate insights into action.

- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout South Australia and occasionally interstate.
