About the role

As part of a new and rapidly expanding business, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations across all production lines and site services. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities, including managing automation systems, routine preventative maintenance, maintaining inventory in the store system, supporting ongoing project works and working closely with the production teams to maintain line efficiencies. The role also focuses on implementing system improvements and tackling technical challenges to enhance reliability and efficiency. You will be working within a small, tight-knit team and collaborating closely with colleagues in a supportive and hands-on environment. With strong growth trajectory, there is plenty of room for both personal and professional development as the business continues to evolve.

Key responsibilities

- Ensure smooth and reliable operation as well as troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges across all production lines and site services
- Manage and maintain automation and control systems, Allen Bradley PLCs
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency
- Support project work, installations, and system upgrades
- Focus on continuous improvement to enhance site performance and efficiencies
- Source and manage electrical parts and equipment as required
- Collaborate closely within a small, tight-knit team to achieve shared goals
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning,

About you

- Qualified electrician with relevant trade certification or equivalent experience
- Strong technical skills with a solid understanding of industrial electrical and automation systems
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, PLC ladder logic and SCADA systems
- Previous experience with Tetra Pak machinery or similar automated packaging systems is desirable but not essential
- Hands-on, proactive, and solution-focused approach to technical challenges
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, supportive team
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities under time-sensitive conditions
- Committed to maintaining high safety standards and attention to detail in all tasks
- Eager to learn, adapt, and grow within a rapidly expanding business environment
- Strong communication skills and collaborative team-minded focus
