Leading Australian owned International Freight Forwarder and Logistics provider seeking an experienced Sales Support Professional to join Head Office @ Taren Point.

You will be assisting sales team by providing updated rates, quotes and ensuring competitive rates sourced from overseas agents, carriers, forwarders working as part of a team.

This role involves sourcing rates either by email or phone from overseas and local carriers / vendors. You'll work closely with clients, overseas offices, internal and external stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service and exceed expectations.

The role seeks a diligent and confident person to ensure quotes are sourced and provided in timely manner. Working closely with both customer service and forwarding department, ensuring efficient competitive and timely quoting as per clients requests and expectations.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- Source rates for both export and import FCL, LCL, and airfreight with airlines, carriers, overseas agents
- Provide quotes in timely manner
- Liaise with all parties (including overseas offices, airlines, CTO’s and transport contractors) to source competitive rates
- Update system in timely manner - Cargowise1 .
- Adhere to standardised procedures for administrative tasks, ensuring consistency and accuracy in data management.




- Monitor, highlight, and action requested KPIs as outlined
- Enter data into computer system and produce data/reports as required
- Handle additional tasks as directed by management

ABOUT YOU:

- Minimum 2 years experience within the freight forwarding industry locally required.
- Experience with CargoWise1
- Understanding of Import & Export - Sea/Air
- Understanding of Incoterms
- Previous experience in Customer Service / Sales Support - International Freight Forwarding a must!
- A positive "can do" attitude, personable, energetic and communicative
- Able to work under pressure in a time critical environment.
- Well organized and efficient.
- Strong attention to detail
