About the Role

Gulli Food Distributors is entering an exciting phase of national growth, and we are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Finance Manager to lead our finance function and provide strategic financial leadership across the business.

Reporting directly to the General Manager Shared Services, you will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and financial analysis while driving continuous improvement initiatives across financial processes and controls.

This is an on-site role based in Prestons, NSW, offering an excellent opportunity for a proactive finance professional who thrives in a quick-paced environment and enjoys partnering with business leaders to influence strategic decision-making and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee all aspects of the company's financial management and reporting.

- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.

- Manage and ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end close processes.

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.

- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to management.

- Ensure compliance with all statutory, taxation, and regulatory requirements.

- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, accountants, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.

- Develop, implement,



and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures.

- Identify and drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

- Support business planning, strategic initiatives, and key commercial projects.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

- CA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.

- Minimum five years' experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance leadership role.

- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, taxation requirements, and financial reporting obligations.

- Experience within the FMCG, distribution, manufacturing, or related industry sectors will be highly regarded.

- Experience using Odoo ERP will be advantageous.

- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems and ERP platforms.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
