About the Role

The Administration Assistant plays an important role in supporting the Workers Compensation division by delivering accurate, timely and customer-focused administrative services. You'll contribute to positive customer outcomes, efficient operations and quality service delivery across a range of administrative and processing activities.

Duties

No two days are the same. As an Administration Assistant, you will:

- Provide a range of administrative and processing support including document handling, claim registrations, records management and correspondence preparation
- Complete routine financial transactions in accordance with legislative, regulatory and organisational requirements
- Collect, verify and compile information and documentation to support business operations and decision-making
- Respond to customer and stakeholder enquiries, escalating matters where required
- Work closely with Claims Service Providers, employers, injured workers and third-party providers to deliver effective administrative support
- Maintain accurate records and databases to ensure information is accessible and up to date
- Identify and escalate potential risks or compliance concerns
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce errors




- Build positive relationships and deliver high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Skills & Experience

- Experience in business administration or a similar administrative role
- Experience using a variety of systems and databases
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Robust written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-focused with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented team setting
- Experience within insurance or workers compensation will be highly regarded
