About Gwinganna Retreat and Spa:

Located in Tallebudgera Valley within the Gold Coast Hinterland, Gwinganna is an innovative, premium quality wellness retreat offering a unique and rewarding work environment. The retreat is multi award winning, eco-certified and regarded as the leading fully immersive wellness brand in Australia. With 240 employees and contractors, we understand our team is our greatest asset.

We are looking to engage qualified and experienced contractors to provide the services of Activities Instructors to our guests who are on retreat. We are seeking contractors who demonstrate a strong alignment with Gwinganna’s wellness principles and philosophy.

Classes & Activities:

We offer our guests a range of fitness classes such as:

boxing, TRX, bosu, resistance training, mobility, functional movement, fit ball, stretch, outdoor games, aqua, hiking, pilates, yoga, meditation, singing bowls, sound healing and many other interesting and innovative modalities. The successful applicant will be skilled and qualified in many of the above modalities.

Contractors must demonstrate the following attributes:

- Excellent communication,



interpersonal and motivational skills

- Fitness Instructor or similar qualification

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience within the fitness and wellness industry

- Experience teaching classes to large groups

- Hold a current first aid and CPR certificate

- Be physically fit, well presented and be committed to a healthy lifestyle

- Must have own transport and insurance

- Creative mindset for recent and innovative classes

These are exciting opportunities to provide your own expertise and assist our retreat to experience optimum wellness. We operate 7 days a week and offer our guests activities classes every morning (6-10.30am) and every evening (5.30-6.30pm).
