International College of Advanced Education (ICAE) is an award-winning Registered Training Organisation (RTO) based in Darwin, NT, delivering qualifications in Remedial Massage, Hospitality, Cookery, Business, and Beauty.

We are currently seeking casual tutors to help us deliver our Diploma of Remedial Massage course, and our Certificate II in Security course (commencing soon). Experience in delivering training will be highly regarded, but we are more interested in your ability to enthusiastically and professionally pass on your skills and knowledge to our students. If you are passionate about your industry and are keen to develop the next generation of professionals, we'd be delighted to hear from you. Our students are keen to learn and enhance their careers in Australia and abroad.

The role is responsible for delivering practical and theory training and assessment, and providing learning support to students. Training and assessment is delivered at our Rapid Creek campus and at student workplaces, helping to ensure that the students are exceptionally well prepared to enter and continue in Industry.

Our working hours and conditions are family-friendly, generally 8:30 - 5:00 Monday to Friday. Casual rates are more than $60 per hour for up to five hours per day, or more than $300 per day, so it's a great option as a second job.

Requirements:





Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Essential, or be willing to obtain)

Australian qualification in Remedial Massage (Essential) if delivering Remedial Massage course

Australian qualification in Security (Essential) if delivering Security course

Experience and demonstrated expertise in either Remedial Massage or Security (Essential)

Experience in training (Desirable)

Experience in delivering Australian Nationally Recognised qualifications (Desirable)

Australian Driver's Licence or be willing to obtain

Live in the Darwin/Palmerston region

Must have full Australian work rights

Have a current Ochre Card or be willing to obtain

The ability to develop a good rapport with students, and present as a friendly, professional and helpful team member is essential in this position.

This role calls for someone who has a can-do attitude, is well organised and hardworking, and is keen to serve as a skilled example to students.
